Air time for television ads are cheaper the earlier a campaign reserves the spots, but the ability to purchase the time at the cheaper rate for the last weeks of the general campaign.

Lee is burning through cash at an incredible rate to win his primary. He's going to come up with a weak war chest and he's going to come up against an experienced businesswoman with who will outraise him.
Florida's not going to elect a longtime Tallahassess hack like Lee to manage our finances.
The same R's that donated to Lee in the primary will do so again in the general. And he will pick up Johnson's supporters and money. And with having the Jeb endorsement, Lee will be able to tap in his fundraising network.
Money will not be a problem with Lee.
Sink has no name ID, and is doing absolutely nothing to raise it. Voters are notoriously wary of buying something that they know nothing about. She has not run any bio pieces, no "get to know me" spots, zippo. She is well behind the 8 ball.
Like Lee has any name recognition! Come on! Do you really believe most people know who the Senate president?
